Pay Per View/Pay Per Minute
"Pay Per View" is a type of media access where end user pays for a predefined number of content views. This model is applicable to both, Streaming as well as Downloadable content.
"Pay Per Minute" is a type of media access where end user purchases a "bank" of minutes, and then he/she can use those minutes across any media content in you have chosen to subject to this rule.
While many pay-media companies provide Pay Per View / Pay Per Minute relying exclusively on DRM technologies, DAS has implemented unique platform that gives our clients flexibility in selecting type of protection and management of their content assets.
While protecting Downloadable Media with DRM for Pay Per View is imperative, protection of streaming content can be achieved using additional methods that do not require implementation of DRM. DAS has developed a unique suite of Media Plugins that allow robust protection and management of streaming content either with or without DRM.
